Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Air Fryer Converter iOS app (the “App”), published on the App Store under the bundle identifier com.brynneprince.airfryerconverter.

The App is a recipe-conversion utility. We try to collect the absolute minimum data needed for the App to function, and to be transparent about the third-party services that do collect data on our behalf.

Data we collect directly

None. The App stores your saved recipes, unit preferences, and theme choice locally on your device using the operating system’s standard storage. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you delete the App.

Data collected by third-party services

The App embeds two third-party SDKs to deliver ads and process the optional in-app purchase that removes ads.

Google AdMob (advertising)

The App displays banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers (Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA, when permitted by the operating system’s App Tracking Transparency prompt) — used to deliver personalized ads.
• Usage data (which screens of the App you’ve opened, ad interactions) — used for ad measurement and analytics.

If you decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, AdMob will continue to serve non-personalized ads, which use only contextual signals and do not link to your identity.

RevenueCat (in-app purchase processing)

When you tap Remove Ads, the App uses RevenueCat to validate the purchase receipt with Apple’s servers and to remember your purchase across reinstalls. RevenueCat may collect:

• An anonymous user identifier generated automatically by their SDK on first launch.
• Purchase history for the App (which products you’ve bought, when, and the price).
• Device platform and OS version for analytics.

RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or any information you typed into the App.

Apple StoreKit

When you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes payment through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to that flow: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

App Tracking Transparency

On first launch the App requests permission to use your device’s advertising identifier, in line with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. You may decline at any time, including by changing the setting in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining does not disable any feature of the App; it only switches AdMob from personalized to non-personalized ads.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us at the address below and we will assist.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• See what data we hold about you (in our case: none directly; the third-party services listed above hold their own data).
• Request deletion of any data linked to you. For App-linked data, this is satisfied by deleting the App. For third-party data, contact Google AdMob or RevenueCat directly via the links above, or contact us and we will assist.
• Opt out of personalized advertising at any time via the App Tracking Transparency setting in iOS.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the App evolves or as required by law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the App’s release notes.
