These terms apply to Prince Solar: the web app at brynne98.github.io/prince-solar-web-app (the “Service”), run by Brynne Prince, an individual in South Africa. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
Prince Solar reads the data your inverter already sends to SunSynk, keeps a history of it, and shows what your system is doing. It does not control your inverter.
Readings come from your inverter and SunSynk. They can be late, wrong or missing, and the Service can be down. Do not make safety, electrical or money decisions on Prince Solar alone.
The Service is free and in testing. Features can change, and the Service can stop. Before any charge starts, we will tell you by email, and you choose whether to stay.
When you connect a SunSynk login, you allow Prince Solar to read your plants’ data from SunSynk with that login. You must have the right to use it. We use the password once to get access tokens and do not keep it. You can disconnect the login in the app at any time.
You may not use the Service to break the law, to access data that is not yours, or to interfere with the Service.
Your readings and settings remain yours. You let us store and process them to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account in the app (Settings, Delete account). The Privacy Policy says what that deletes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use, or from a reading that is late, wrong or missing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa where it applies.
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. If something goes wrong, email us first and we will try to sort it out.
